Pocket Wizard Flex TT5 Quick Test
Don’t worry nothing too technical, it’s far too early in the morning for that!
Bought a couple of Pocket Wizard Flex TT5 remote triggers from Park Cameras at the SWPP Trade show yesterday. The main advantage being that they can fire in iTTL mode and best of all the speedlights connect straight to a hot shoe so NO flipping lead to fiddle with when it keeps falling out!!
Did a very quick test after breakfast (excuse the breakfast cereal around Enzo’s mouth). Simple set up. One Nikon Speedlight 900 pointing from right through a Lastolite Ezybox and another Nikon Speedlight 800 pointing face on through an umbrella. All Speedlights set to TTL and fired from a TT5 on a D3s on 1/125 and a Nikon 85mm at f7.1. Simples.
Will practice with manual mode later for a portrait shoot tomorrow, but for now I’m off to Hyde Park with the boys to burn off some energy!
